Adorned a shelf 
In a flower shop
She was so thrilled 
To know life outdoors 
Her dazzling beauty
Gripped hearts of lookers
Until a day came
When a man bought that orchid 
"At last..life outdoors ! "
And he was a good man 
Watered her day and night 
Caressed her soft petals 
Now she adorns his place 
Again..thrilled to try life outdoors
